The members of dub music group Heavyweight Dub Champion consider themselves warriors in the battle to liberate the closed minds of humanity so that all can realize the power of their own inner consciousness. Yeah, it’s deep stuff and HDC take it very seriously. The group is fanatical about producing virtually all of their sounds from scratch in order to create a custom-tailored auditory experience that will have maximum impact on the human psyche. HDC lives to perform at live shows, where they use their homegrown pre-recorded sounds in conjunction with vintage synthesizers, saxophone, turntables, percussion, and vocals.
