As far as indie graffiti artists go, Downtimer is at the top of the MySpace heap. He has blown up the spot in a big way over the past year or so, with more than enough exhibitions and freelance work to keep him busy. You’ve probably seen his now legendary graphic design for the 3sixteen ‘Same Number Same Hood’ tshirt, or maybe even seen his stuff on exhibit at any number of shows along the West Coast. His organic and highly complex style is becoming more and more recognized with each passing day and it’s only a matter of time before this artist hits the big time.
So, with that in mind, you might want to consider buying some of Downtimer’s art that he just put up for sale. You can view all the pieces on his MySpace blog. Prices top out at just $350 (trust me, this stuff is the deal of the frickin century) and average around $150 or so.
