With a unique style that is a direct reflection of his graffiti background, yet is also seamlessly grafted with the worlds of architecture, engineering/drafting, and even Jeep 4×4s, the art of Kofie One is truly multifaceted in a way that seperates him from his peers. Browse the paintings and illustrations on his website and it becomes apparent that even as Kofie challenges himself to constantly elevate and adapt his art, he has developed a trademark style that includes an earth-tone pallet, distinctive line-works, and a sophisticated use of layers.

I could go on an on about Kofie’s art, but then I would neglect to mention that he also owns his own clothing label appropriately called Draftsmen. All shirts are hand printed by Kofie himself, and he does all the patchwork sewing as well. Look for the shirts online at Giant Peach.

And before I end this post, let me put you on to the other creative side of Kofie One - his music. Under the name 4×4tracktor using just a Roland S10 keyboard and 4-track, Kofie layers music in much the same way he creates layers in his art. Kofie never intended to release his music publicly, which really speaks to what a humble cat he is, since his music is pretty damn good. Is there anything this guy can’t do??
