Gnarls Barkley Poster Contest Winners

A few weeks ago SpaceCadetz blogged about a Myspace poster contest being held by new hip-hop group Gnarls Barkley. Well the after receiving over 160 submissions, 20 winners were finally chosen. Check by the Gnarls Barkley MySpace page daily for the next few weeks, as each day they will display a different winning poster as the default photo. The winners get a ton of goodies, including a printed run of 50 of their poster designs with one signed by the Gnarles Barkley duo Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse.

The GBIT decided to capitalize on the enthusiasm and held a poster contest in which over 150 posters were submitted and 20 were chosen as winners. The winning posters were rotated as the default profile picture and are still up for view on the profile today, keeping the hardcore fans invested in the group. The blog updates were fresh and relevant, and really did the job of building up hype around the St. Elsewhere album release like with the news that ‘Crazy’ was the #1 single in the UK.
