Amsterdam…All it’s cracked up to be?

It’s common perception that Amsterdam is THE city for all kinds of activity and goods that are not legal elsewhere. But unless you’ve peronsally been there yourself, you might be wondering what all the hype is about. Is Amsterdam all that it’s cracked up to be? That’s the topic of this forum post. Plenty of people chimed in with information on lodging, attitudes towards Americans, and of course prostitution and marijuana.
